Gallery: Lunar observations during the Artemis II mission
During the Artemis II mission, DSCOVR EPIC captured images of the Moon in 10 spectral bands from ultraviolet to near-infrared. These observations are used to help verify EPIC's calibration, since the Moon provides a relatively stable, bright reference target. Natural color composite images were also created from selected visible bands. The images with wavelength numbers are the individual bands taken by EPIC. The ones without wavelength numbers are natural color composites.
